If ever you are feeling down and out about your Network Marketing business then I would highly recommend an hour or two reading Robert Kiyosaki’s books! No one could fail to be motivated and encouraged.
Robert is well known for his great success as a business man and author of several self help and motivational books. I doubt there are many Network Marketers around that haven’t heard of Rich Dad, Poor Dad! For any that haven’t read it yet, please do asap!.
He has written 15 books so far and sold over a whopping 26 million copies! Prior to his days in business he served as a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam war..
The majority of his books are about building wealth and residual income for yourself by using direct marketing and also property and investment. He is well positioned to teach folks in these subjects, he has himself attained much success and wealth in each of these areas of business. There is no doubt that in today’s economic climate we should not be trying to get rich building someone else’s empire, but instead building our own empires and leveraging people and money to work for us.
The longer I stay in this marketing game, the more surprised I get at the sheer number of folks who are quite happy to stick in their so called ‘secure’ job and never take any action to remove themselves from the masses and create for themselves lifestyle & prosperity. They say they want freedom but never actually do anything about it!.
Network Marketing is the only business that I can think of that allows the average person to start their own business for minimal cost and it have the potential to create a very large residual income. For most MLM business opportunities an investment of anything from $100 up to $1000 is all that’s needed to get started, compare this with a traditional business where you will almost certainly be looking at several thousand dollars investment. Network Marketing has also produced more millionaires than any other industry, will you be one of them?.
There is unquestionably massive interest in the work of Robert Kiyosaki, he has come under fire though from people who say that his books lack any actual teaching on how to put into practice what he is teaching. i.e. practical advice on how to set up a business. Whilst that’s true, you still can get an incredible amount of benefit from his material. Whatever business you choose to get involved with you need to get the ground work done first, and one of the most important things you can do is get your mindset right!
So once your mind is in the right place and your ready to get started, what will you need for your business? Well two things that you will most definitely need are an unlimited supply of leads and upfront cashflow. It stands to reason that a lack of leads will mean that your network marketing business simply won’t grow. This is actually one of the biggest stumbling blocks for new distributors. Its also worth noting that a lack of cash flow is a prime reason that people quit the industry after only a short period of time.. This can be a real killer when it comes to building a team.
